For many years I used MacPorts's emacs-app nicely with Skim. emacs-app has good builtins in Skim wrt PDF-TeX Sync support.
I'm now trying EmacsMac (MacPorts's emacs-mac-app, from https://bitbucket.org/mituharu/emacs-mac/src/master/). This gets placed in /Applications/MacPorts/EmacsMac.app. It'd be nice to have this in the preset. If I use Emacs's presets, I am not getting sync support (it does not open the TeX source in EmacsMac). emacsclient does work from the command line, so I'm a little puzzled, and am happy to get any guidance on how to fix this so I can get sync support.
