For me it is the opposite: the pop-up window shows the upper-right corner of the linked displayed-formula (few symbols of the end of the formula and the tag), in the upper-left-corner of the pop-up window. In this way: most of the right-hand side of the pop-up window is just empty. I'm not able to make Screenshot, because when I move the pointer the pop-up disappears.
