You can’t do both at the same time. If you would do it in the Cmd-F UI, then the other UI is not possible, and you would loose a lot of functionality of that feature (like the overview of the hits and all that you can do with it). The other thing is that you should also be able to get rid of the highlights, and if we would do that in the Cmd-F feature (because off the way it works), that would be very hard, and would functionally interfere with the “quick hit” nature of the feature.
