Also, it is probably easiest to draw using a stylus pen on a touch pad, but of 
ourse you need the pen for that

Some more things that could help a bit, is that you can resize freehand notes 
(hold short to resize proportionally). So you could draw it larger than you 
actually need, which may be a bit easier. 

There is also a pair of AppleScrips linked on the Wiki that allows you to save 
a freehand note as signature for reuse. So if you have a decent one once, 
you’re done.
