What's wrong with pasting your signature? Handwriting a signature into a
PDF makes no difference to pasting one.

In Namibia the Electronic Transactions Act (Act 4 of 2019) is still not
in force but it specifies (advance) electronic signatures, akin to eIDAS.
In the interim I use an iPad app to save the signature without
background and that works very nicely.
