Deemed Capital Gains will be taxed on the date of completion of 3 years from the date of deposit in Capital Gains Account. In the present case, it appears the capital gains account was opened in May 2007 and the three years ends on May 2010. Therefore taxability will be in the year 2010-2011 relevant to AY 2011-2012
