Dear friends, I am aware that interest earned on Savings Bank account up to Rs.10000/- is not taxable. I want to know whether Interest earned on Recurring Deposit is taxable because banks do not deduct TDS on the same. Moreover Recurring Deposit is also like Savings. Kindly clarify. Thanking you.
