[skunkworks] RE: Sources of Info

I know of an organization that is newly formed this year called the Internet Broadcast Association, headquartered in the SF Bay area( www.ibagloal.com ). Their mission is to be a clearinghouse for content providers, e-commerce businesses, and streaming media outfits to collaborate, distribute their content and other services, along with some other benefits to the membership at large. The founder is Paul Costa ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) if you want to query him about some of their available information. They already have Choice Radio as a streaming media member, and some other big players network providers lining up. They are sort of the NAB of the Internet.

 

My streaming media CODEC company, Crystech,  is joining as a founding member.

Hi,

Is anyone familiar with data or available reports on the following:

A list of the companies that are the big spenders on all forms of content distribution- spending on Hosting Services, CDN services, build proprietary data centers, etc.

A list detailing the largest Access ISPs which also have their own proprietary Broad Band content.

Advise on relevant sources of information regarding this data would also be great.
