Hello Skunkworks listers: This is a call for streaming media producers to volunteer -- DID I MENTION YET THAT THERE'S NO MONEY TO PAY MAN OR BEAST? -- on a unique project and high-profile cause. Spotcaster.com is seeking a video/audio person/crew to help gather and edit news footage and field interviews at a dog rally across from San Francisco City Hall on Friday Aug. 3, from 4:30 to 7 pm. The purpose of this event is to protest San Francisco' proposed dog policies. Given the passion San Franciscans have for their dogs (one-quarter of city residents own a pooch) and given all the dog stories in the news today, this promises to be interesting, visually and otherwise. The video will be used on Spotcaster's newest project, The San Francisco Dog Blog, an interactive web log and discussion community for all the dog news in the Bay Area. This is my "pet" project during our recent economic (and creative) downturn. This is not a commercial project. You will have the opportunity to get "arty" and otherwise have fun.
