Nah di dalam tekologi tersebut dapat ditumpangkan berbagai jenis data seperti Audio, Video dan bahkan paket IP. Bisa anda bayangkan jika sudah berbicara mengenai paket IP, tentu akan sangat luas (dapat dikonversikan menjadi Audio, VIdeo, Data) Saat ini teknologi yang sangat berkembang adalah teknologi DVB-IP, sebab teknologi ini dapat menghasilkan kualitas yang baik dengan equipment yang terjangkau.
