Prinsip kerjanya adalah sistem hybrid dimana dilakukan penggabungan UpStream via teresterial (ISP Lokal) dengan DownStream via Satelit (DVB).
Teknologi ini adalah cost effective dimana pemakaian bandwidth Up : Down rata-rata adalah 1:4. Contoh: Down=128kbps maka UpStream yang dibutuhkan adalah 1/4xDownStream.
