On Nov. 10 2004 the moon will occult Venus in the daytime as seen from my location. The moon is a thin cresent and when you get CdC to display it and track, you can time the occultation.
But wait, there's more! What's that bright object just below and to the LHS of the moon only 5 deg away or so? Why it's Jupiter! This is going to be my first chance to see not only the Venus occultation but Jupiter in daylight. I can use the moon as a guide while scanning with my binoculars!
