I use version 3.0.0-6 for Linux (Fedora Core 2).
I installed the RPM's from:
http://unc.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/skychart/libborqt-6.9.0-2.i386.rpm
http://unc.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/skychart/skychart-3.0.0.6-2.i386.rpm
All worked fine, but now that I upgraded my kernel to 2.6.8, when running
skychart I get a segfault with a runtime error:
# Runtime error 230 at 0806D6A5
# Segmentation fault
I reinstalled the RPM's, with identical results. This happens also with
2 other Kylix programs that I have, so it appears to be some incompatibility
between the Kylix libraries and the 2.6.8 kernel. Perhaps it would be a good
idea to install the libraries from source. Any idea...?
Again (and again!) thank you for all your work with CDC. It is not
"only" outstanding as a piece of software, but is VERY rare nowadays to
see so much work dedicated to a free application. We all appreciate it
very much, even when we forget to tell you.
