When using v. 2.75 I was able to update my list of comet ephemerides by using the 'Comet elements' button in 'Catalog and Objects Parameters.' However, in v. 2.76 when I use the 'Comet elements' button I get 'Error: 500' after a few seconds. I have tried installing a fresh copy of v. 2.76 on one computer. I tried the v. 2.75 -> 2.76 update patch on another computer (both running Win XP). Neither worked for updating the comet ephemerides. After returning one of the computers back to v. 2.75 the button worked as it had before and successfully downloaded the updated ephemerides from the Harvard site. I was able to go to the Harvard site, copy the updated list of comet ephemerides, and save them as a text file, then rename the file as cometes.dat. The program then read that file correctly. It looks as though something in v. 2.76 is interfering with correct downloading of comet ephemerides. Has anyone else run into that problem?
