Nicola,
One thing you might try is to setup and run CdC using the ASCOM
telescope simulator. In the Telescope Menu, select ASCOM. When the
ASCOM Telescope Interface 1.1 window opens, click the Select button
to open the ASCOM Telescope Chooser window. Click the down arrow
and scroll to and select Telescope Simulator. When the properties
window opens, you can set up your own particular coordinates, mount
type, and optics. Click OK when done; then OK to dismiss the
Chooser window, and then Connect in the Interface window (followed
by Hide). Back in the CdC Telescope menu, check the Track Scope and
Show Scope buttons. Finally, in the Windows menu bar, open the Scope
Simulator window (it's probably flashing at you) and do an Unpark
and check Track (if not already that way).
You should now be able to move the telescope with the nudge
buttons in the Simulator and see the action in the CdC window. Or
you can click on an object to select it in the sky window and right
click and choose GoTo, and see the coordinates change in the
simulator as well as the telescope tracking move in the sky window.
If this works, your problem is still in your communication link
with your telescope emulator. What is your LX200 emulator?
I also recall reading some discussion about COM port assignments
on the ASCOM-Talk group discussion. You might look there for some
clues, too.
Hope I've been of some help.
Dick
