Another good source for checking hoaxes and/or confirming actual facts is the Urban Legends site at>> http://www.snopes.com/ They also debunk the "Virtual Card For You" hoax. See>> http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/card.htm They say, "The "Virtual Card for You" hoax (now often circulated simply as a "A Card for You") has been making the rounds since at least 2000, with occasional changes along the way. No such (incurable) virus ever existed, was identified by McAfee, was reported on by CNN, or "caused panic in New York." If your sensitivities are bruised to the point that you will not accept this as a learning experience, then maybe others on this forum who haven't exposed themselves will gain from the info in the message from g fulop and this one.
