I have a copy of DeepSky2000 which has GSC in a form usable by CdC, but it seems very slow when using it. With a fast connection, it's almost easier to use the internet download of GSC stars when needed. I think it must have something to do with the way the sky is divided into regions in the DeepSky GSC- the program must have to sort through a lot of stars to find the right ones for the field. But a faster computer might help that- this was done on a 350 MHz PII. -John
