I am not sure but it looks as though a catalog that is set to become 
active at <5d FOV is corrupt. Take a look at "Preferences" "Catalogs" 
and see if you can find one that is becoming active at that range and 
temporarily deactivate it. CdC should have no trouble zooming in well 
beyond 5d fov.
