Hi Patrick,
thanks for your reply and the link.

Well the good news is that I got a good agreement tonight with
Cosmos2082rocket just before midnight as it passed close by eta U.minor
(less than 0.2sec on my stopwatch+radioclock, without allowing for
reaction etc. which is OK for me !!)

____That was _after_ I discovered that I had not entered my height asl
(DOH !!)____

So, with this success, I re-evaluated my ISS passes, with my new
elevation, but still I have an error (this evening it passed the
'wrong' side of eta Bootes :( )
So I'm still working on that,,,,

Many thanks for the link to the older version,
I hope I did not give the impression that I was questioning the
veracity of CdC (**) !
I needed to go back in my own time to see what I had been doing before
I noticed the error in the hope that I would see (or be reminded of)
something that I had miss-set.
You were right though, going back to 2.75 did not help and did not
change anything.

(**)On the contrary, I know that you have been working hard on CdC for
a long time so I did not doubt that I was making an obvious error in
driving it, the only problem being that MY obvious error is not yet
obvious to ME :-!)))) if you see what I mean !

I will try ISS again when clouds etc. allow,

best wishes,
Malcolm,
SW England

I had forgotton that I was posting via my Yahoo alias.)
