All,
As I become more familiar with the sky I'm practicing my star hopping
instead of relying on the goto feature of my scope. It appeared to me that
it would be nice to know what the distance (in degrees) is between two
objects in the CdC window. I could imagine right clicking somewhere to put
down a start-marker and then dragging and placing an end marker. On the line
between them it would say the distance. Like labels you can add multiple
'measuring sticks' like that. The measuring stick would have configurable
markers, defaulting to Telrad, so you can easily use it to hop multiple
viewfinders.
I have attached a mockup of what it would look like.
Does CdC do anything like this right now?
Thanks,
Sander
