Yes I miss to link this files from the download page. From http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=64092 You can find tar.gz file you can install on any Linux.
There is some explanation here: http://www.ap-i.net/skychart/page-10.html This explain how to install in the user home directory but you can copy the respective file to your system /bin /lib /usr ... as the rpm do if you want.
