The Milky Way is turned on, visible, etc. I have no trouble printing it to paper through a printer. It is only when I try to create a PDF file using Adobe Distiller that I get that message. WHen I try to use CutePDF, it works fine! So, the answer is (for now) use free s/w instead of the $$$ stuff from Adobe. Thanks, all.
