You can cutomize the color of just about anything in Windows, from the display
properties (in the control panel, or right-click on the desktop and click
"properties"). In the display properites window, click the "appearnce" tab.
Depending on which version of windows you're using, you may need to click the
"advanced" button.
Once you've customized the colors, you can save these settings with a new name,
like "night vision" (this is tricky in Windows XP- once you change things, I
think you have to click the "themes" tab in the display properties window and
click "save as"). Then you can switch the whole computer to night vision mode
anytime you want.
There are also various small freeware programs out there that will change the
color of everything on the monitor.
