As far as I know (though I am by no means an expert on such matters)
CdC can be used in publications, because the program is distributed
under the GNU public liscence, though I may be wrong. I use the charts
on my site (when its working :-) ) and put a link to the CdC site,
thus in my opinion anyway, giving them the same rights that I was
given, and anyway, it is a nice thing to do for your readers.
