The ASCOM platform installs in C:\Program Files\Common Files\ASCOM, this
is not changable. It works fine with CDC.
There are two upgrades that you might consider:
The update for the Celestron ASCOM driver - on the ASCOM downloads site.
An upgrade to the Ascom.tid file that CDC uses to communicate with
Ascom. This is in the files area for this group and is the one you
mention that must be installed in the Ciel folder.
