That's one of the "search index" files (for the Henry Draper catalog, in this
case). Scroll down to the "search index" section of the download page, and get
the file at the "HD" link
<ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/astro/progs/pc/win32/starmap/cdc/cdcixhd.exe>
Put the file in your ciel folder, and click to install. You'll end up with the
file hd.idx in your cat\bsc5 folder.
The search index files are needed to search by various traditional catalog
numbers. There's one each for SAO, HD, BD, and a few others.
