Is it possible (or can it be made so) to display the LMC and SMC as outlines (like the Milky Way) instead of ellipses? They are not your standard distant galaxies - they look like broken off bits of Milky Way and the display would be a lot more realistic if one could show them like the Milky Way.
2. The Milky Way itself is a bit inaccurate - one of the most prominent Milky Way features in the region from Canis Major through to Scorpius is the Coal Sack dark nebula next to the Southern Cross - it looks like a "hole" in the Milky Way. Is there a way to edit the Milky Way data file to render it correctly? 3. NGC 104: being adjacent to the SMC (NGC 292), I can't select NGC 104 (47 Tuc) to get its details - the right click menu only shows the SMC option. Is there a way to select NGC 104 with the mouse? 3.0.1.0, latest snapshot (21 Sept), Win XP sp2 DN -- _________________________ David Nicholls http://www.dcnicholls.com Yahoo!
