I edited the subject line so people can decide to skip it if they don't 
care about comets.

Thanks for your email. I'm not sure what I did wrong. I again updated 
the MPC file and searched for swan. It showed several hits, including 
the 2006 one. So I selected C/2006 Swan and voila, it's drawn on the screen.
