I just came across an asteroid, (2025) Nortia which is not in the
asteroid catalog that CdC uses by default. I'm sure there are many of
these but in this case I care because it's an asteroid that will occult
a star soon. I would like to simulate the occultation using CdC. This is
the listed source for the asteroid:

Data for the minor planet
-------------------------
 * general information:
     (number) name: (2025) Nortia
     approx. diameter [km]: 40
     approx. diameter ["]: .019
     distance from Earth [AU]: 2.86000

 * orbital information:
      orbit source: Preston
      date of fit: 2006 Oct 30
      source of used astrometry: FASTT TMO MPC (via Astdys)
      number of used observations: 649
      number of rejected observations: 15
      time covered by the observations: 1935 Mar 04 - 2006 Oct 25
      1 sigma uncertainty ellipse (major, minor, PA): 0.049, 0.037, 98°

This is the AstDys site: http://hamilton.dm.unipi.it/cgi-bin/astdys/astibo .
Has anyone attempted
to make CdC play nice with this catalog?

I did a google search and while CdC and astdys are listed on the same page with
some regularity there
is no description on how to integrate them.

I'll continue doing some research but if you have any pointers I love to hear
about them.

For now I'll add the asteroid manually.

Thanks,

   Sander
