I have found the problem with searching the PGC 2006 catalog. The index file was not sorted correctly (I thought I checked this twice). I have provided some new index files at the url's below that quickly fix the problem.
PGC 2006 Full Catalog - http://x.astrogeek.org/pub/PGC2006Index.zip PGC 2006 Lite Catalog - http://x.astrogeek.org/pub/PGC2006LiteIndex.zip Unzip the file and replace the pgc.idx file in your <ciel>/cat/pgc folder with the updated file. I will be updating the installation programs on the website as soon as I build a new set of executables. --- I cannot seem to find a problem with the WDS catalog. Can someone please elaborate on the problem they are having? I loaded the WDS 2006.5 version and compared a section of the sky with the WDS 2004 version and they look identical. Regards, Jeff Burton
