I have downloaded the file but do not seem to be able to use it in Ciel - I am probably doing something wrong but, when I enter an HD number into the search facility, the view goes black, with no stars showing. I have tried this with about 10 stars but each time is the same.

But a search index is necessary because many still use it to name the bright stars.
