Yesterday, I wanted to take picture of the
small planet Eris

When selecting Eris from the astorb file,
the following position will be displayed

Cartes du Ciel 2006-12-23 1h00m MEZ 3h04m15.11s +35°04'45.3" 17.6

But instead
Nasa Horizons 2006-Dec-22 00:00 UT 01 35 53.93 -05 23 47.8 18.78

WinOccult 2006 12 22 00:00 UT 1 35.85 - 5 24.2 18.7
(same Astorb.dat)

The Astorb data are epoch Dec 31 2006, but Skychart displays epoch
2006123 !!!

The other elements for Eris seem to be ok (only small differences)
Is there an epoch problem with the end of the year ?

Can anybody confirm my calculations ?

When using the menu => file => asteroid =>
Cartes du Ciel complains, that the astorb file is more than one year
old ???
I downloaded my astorb.dat Dec, 13 2006 from
ftp://ftp.lowell.edu/pub/elgb/astorb.html
with the line

136199 Eris E. Bowell -1.2
0.15 0 0 0 0 0 0 19036 193 20061231
197.865227 151.535700 35.879070 44.169423 0.44046421 67.71301350

2.0E-01 20160807
(without linefeeds)

Thanks a lot and merry christmas

    Erik
