You have to select which asteroids/comets you want to be "active" in the
program (if you downloaded the entire astorb database and selected them all,
your computer would be very slow trying to calculate the positions of all
300,000 known asteroids!)

After selecting the asteroids or comets tab, right click to select object(s) in
the window (use ctrl+left click or shift+left click to select multiple
entries), then click "ok".  Now these objects will be charted, and you can find
them with the search feature.
