Joe,
 
If you use the ASCOM driver support for the Meade telescopes, I believe it
will compare the two clocks and report back if the clocks are off by an
amount  >5 seconds and give you an option to update the telescope on certain
models. I'm not sure if the LX90 is one, but I know it worked for my LX-200.
 
I'm not sure if the native Meade support within CDC can do the clock update.

Describe how to SYNC the laptop computer time with the telescope time.
I remember seeing this somewhere but cannot remember where?
