If you're trying to find Gliese 581 (the star with the newly found "possibly habitable" planet around it), it's also BD-07 4003. I think you'll need the BD (Bonner Durchmusterung) "search index" file from the CdC download page to search for it.
Hmm, I get a blank spot in Libra, but it's supposed to be a 10th magnitude star. The Simbad database (ultimate reference for cross-IDs) at <http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-fid> says it's also HIP 74995, and GSC 05594-00593, which CdC finds right next to where it says BD-07 4003 is. -John --- Geoff Dudley <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Does anyone have the Gliese catalog for CDC?
