If you're trying to find Gliese 581 (the star with the newly found "possibly
habitable" planet around it), it's also BD-07 4003.  I think you'll need the BD
(Bonner Durchmusterung) "search index" file from the CdC download page to
search for it.

Hmm, I get a blank spot in Libra, but it's supposed to be a 10th magnitude
star.

The Simbad database (ultimate reference for cross-IDs) at
<http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-fid> says it's also HIP 74995, and GSC
05594-00593, which CdC finds right next to where it says BD-07 4003 is.
