Hello all together, now i got time to install Skychart on my Ubuntu 7.04 via repository and updating with latest SVN snapshot. Now i've got some questions:
In nightvision mode, the color of symbols and lines changes. But the window itself don't change color. Is skychart using a different framework like qt or motif? If this could be adjusted i would be happy. Ubuntu Feisty got a really cool night theme, so i just have a bright "skychart square" on my screen. I installed all the catalogs from the website and want to use NGC and Messier, which are both in dictionary /usr/share/apps/skychart/cat/ngc2000. But always the path field is staying red! Must i choose one of the *.idx files? Can I display Messier and NGC together with only the Mxx_label on Messier? How can i change, on which discrete brightness an object or label is displayed? There are in german "Helligkeits unterschie" which is english "brightness difference".
