I'm using PCLinuxOS and have successfully run Sky Charts
3.0.1.2-1.i386.rpm on my present system with no problems. On the other
hand trying to install the latest update 3.0.1.4-1.i386 rpm will not
work because it is looking for the file sqlite. I've got every file in
the repositories from PCLinuxOS that represents sqlite and I fear that
the reason this upgrade won't work is because of some file name or
version incapability in PCLinuxOS compared to what ever version of
sqlite is required i.e. either by O.S. distribution or something
otherwise. Any help in fixing this problem would be appreciated.

This program is a mile stone for these various reasons to me.

(1) Written to work in Linux
(2) compiled and created with 'Lazarus' pascal software.
(3) Advanced program and catalog features not found in KDE 'KStars'.

I have been an avid Linux enthusiast for the past 4-5 years and have
complete dropped Windows. Also as an amateur astronomer with several
large telescopes (biggest one) a 25" F/5 dobsonian, I find this
software invaluable for my hobbyist pursuits.
