Patrick, et al, I usually use CdC on my WinXP machines, but my laptop is getting a little old now and proportionally slower, so I decided to revisit CdC on OSX. I have a brand new MacPro w/ OSX 10.4.11 on which CdC runs really great! So now I'm planning to take my MacPro out to the field on my next observing session which will require a CdC-scope connection.
So here's the issue... Non-Windows versions of CdC are using INDI to talk to scopes (at least on Linux). I have successfully compiled INDI on OSX and gotten it to work under XEphem (another fine and free star charting program for UNIX-like machines, but nowhere near as easy to use as CdC!!!). Since CdC is working on OSX and INDI is working on OSX, is it possible to enable INDI on the OSX version of CdC? Perhaps this is already in the code/available? But I have not found a way to configure it nor any docs on how this can be done. This is the final step to bring a fully functional OSX version of CdC to all those Mac users!!
