I think I have almost run out of things to investigate !

One difference between the machines that work OK and the one that does
not is that CdC is loaded on the D drive of the machine that does not
work. Could this be the problem ?

Is anyone else running CdC from a drive other than C ? If so can you
get the Iridium Flare generation to work ?
