Meade's USB cable is only a converter from USB to serial.  You also need a 
serial cord for your scope.  I think your scope uses the simplest Autostar 
handbox- the #494, so you need Meade's #506 cable.


However CdC controls the scope using either its own Meade driver, or an ASCOM 
driver, and I don't know if either will work with scopes using the #494 
handbox.  The simplest ASCOM driver for Meade scopes is for the #495 and #497 
autostars.
