Your fist is about 10 degrees wide when you hold your arm straight out.
That will give you some idea about angles.  You already should have the
angular field of view of your camera lenses in the instruction manuals.
Otherwise, for a 35 mm frame the horizontal width of the field in 
degrees is roughly 2060 divided by the focal length of the lens in mm 
and the vertical height of the field is roughly 1380 divided by the 
focal length of the lens in mm.  For digital cameras multiply the focal 
length by the crop factor first.
