Hi Tony, I think your ideas are good... the best place to post a feature request is the bugtracker you find on skychart site http://www.ap-i.net/skychart/index.php creating a ticket as "feature request" type.
I suggest you create one ticket for each idea separately, so Patrick can better handle them. Bye.
