I installed the latest beta release of CdC - Version 3.0.1.6 last night. One thing I have found is that Comet Lulin appears twice at slightly different positions. The positions are so close the two overlap even at high magnifications. It is not just a display artefact as the comet is shown twice in the object list as well with different positions. This is an extract from the object list: 14h41m02.06s -14°53'19.5" Cm C/2007 N3 (Lulin) 2009-02-08 05h00m00s m: 6.9 phase: 49 ° dist: 0.7155au rsol: 1.2882au tl:0.05au ref:1/2007-10-27 14h41m15.68s -14°54'15.0" Cm C/2007 N3 (Lulin) 2009-02-08 05h00m00s m: 6.9 phase: 49 ° dist: 0.7206au rsol: 1.2910au tl:0.04au ref:2/2008-11-30 There are 2 objects in this field. I have looked at other comets but they do not have the same problem but they are not as bright. The downloaded comet data file only has one entry for comet Lulin. I have attached an image of the screen to show the problem. Stars & Galaxies are Ok I have tried it on 2 computers and they both show the same problem. Has anyone else noticed this or is it a problem with my installation ? John Murrell
