Hi,

I added WCS coordinates to one of my FITS images and let CdC display it.
This is quite slow compared to other software that loads the FITS file.
I assume that CdC does some kind of transformation to align the image
with the display. It seems though that this transformation needs to be
done only once and that after that only a bitblt is needed to move the
image on the screen, right?

The slowdown is so bad that when I enable the 'blink' feature I have a
hard time disabling it. Scrolling the screen is also quite slow.

Has anyone else tried this? My machine isn't a racehorse but it's not
that slow:

- P4D 2.8G (dual core)
- 2 GB RAM
- Win XP Pro

Image is 16 bit color FITS of 2700x1600 pixels. I can upload it if needed.

Thanks,

        Sander
