I don't think so- I've never had that problem (and I just checked).

Geoff, are you using CdC in alt-az or polar/eq mode?  I think at very small FOV 
CdC reverts to eq mode automatically even if you're in alt-az mode.  That could 
be a problem in the S hemisphere, and given the spelling of your first name... 
are you down under?  Yep, I just checked the membership list and confirmed that.

Now if I could just figure out the time bug I've run into recently on my home 
computer.  It keeps reverting to the current time even if i tell it to change 
time.  But I've mentioned that before, and no one else has that problem, and I 
don't think it happens on the computers at our local public observatory, so it 
must be an issue with my own computer.
