Hello list,

I wrote to Doug Lee personally but He didn't receive my message, I
guess. So, I'll write to the list (I've just resubscribed to it).
As we all know, in revision 550 there is a new feature: the Command
interface which is activated by pressing the [ (left bracket key). In
English that key is almost unused or, to be more exact, is used
largely only in technical texts (for example, to indicate arrays in
most programming languages). But it's not the case with other
languages: In French this key allows to place above the letter a circumflex and
(when
pressed with the Shift key) a dieresis; in German it's the ? (U
umlaut) key; in Russian and Ukrainian (and, I believe, in Bielorusian)
it's a letter that can be approximatively transcribed as H.
When I tried to change that keystroke to something like Windows+[, I
didn't find it in the Keyboard manager; neither did I using the search
of something like that in the .jss file.
And, as you understand, it's not comfortable to write in those
languages: we need to press the key twice in order to see the letter
or to have the modifier been processed.
What will be the suggestions?
Thanks!

Andre
