1. open script manager jaws key 0. 2. open the file menu with alt+f, and arrow down to the option that says open shared file. Press enter. 3. type default and press enter. 4. open the file menu with alt+f, and arrow down to the save as user option. Press enter. 5. type fs_default then press enter. Warning you must type it as it is shown above so if you have your punctuation turned off pleas make sure you review it with your cursor letter buy letter to make sure you got it right. 6. you should be prompted to replace files. Press alt+y. 7. exit jaws buy pressing jaws+f4. 8. restart jaws buy pressing windows+r and type jaws9 press enter.

The warning is not actually happening because > JAWS can't find the default scripts, but rather because the default > scripts it is finding are a little out of date. yeah I got that warning but I also got stuff like unknown function whenever I tried to perform a jaws function. I'll tell you exactly what I did. I did a ctrl-c then ctrl-v to make a copy of default.jsb in the shared folder and renamed it default_fs.jsb because I thought that's what you said to do but fortunately I was able to set it back to the way I had it before so jaws now runs fine but still can't update but I'm probably doing something wrong.
