Hi,

I found all the versions of skype on file hippo. then I thought it was the
first 6.0 stable versions that worked, but then remembered that I didn't
really move upto 6.0 for quite awhile.
I get a little jerkyness when dialing and the phone rings, but then it
smooths out quite nicely.

Seeing no real reason to upgrade to skype 3.6 .. no security problems, and
the like, I've moved down the ladder to 3.5, and am doing quite finely.

I'm posting this incase other people are having problems with total recorder
and might benefit. I am using a sb live 24 bit <gag> card, and mileage I am
sure shall vary depending on setups.

One reason why I'd recommend total recorder is that it's cheaper than
callburner, and can record other things besides skype calls. If you use
office a lot, you might consider oh my, I'm drawing a blank for it. I know
it's a .biz domain .. ah, skylook.

I'm going to shoot my cmputer, my sister, my dog, and the next door
neighbor, and while I wait for the fuz to show up, I intend to take a long
long long hot shower, and crawl into bed.

Good night one and all.

I remain your friendly neighborhood lord of beer.
