Hi Allison and list! It occurs in my memory, that this was one of the rare actual benefits to the original SAM programme. That is, when it saved voicemail, it saved it in either mp3 or wav. I forget which and don't mean to suggest it was a case of either or. But besides being free, that is the benefit. Skype's voicemail doesn't do this, but SAM also won't collect messages when you aren't using Skype where Skype will.
