Now Richard could ask: "Yeah, but how can I turn it off?". Well it's very simple. While in Skype, go to the JAWS verbosity settings pressing insert+v, and there you find the option called "Typing sounder". Press space bar until you hear: "Typing sounder - Off". [It might not be the first setting because you can regulate 5 volume levels.] And with the option above you can disable the typing announcement if you heven don't like that. Best regards from Italy.
